Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are technologies included in motor vehicles that are designed to identify and react to potential hazards faster than a human driver.

- Lane Keeping: Lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, and lane centering assist. [associated with a 11% decrease in single vehicle, sideswipe and head-on crashes].
- Blind Zone Detection: Blind spot warning, blind spot intervention, and lane change merge. [associated with 14% decrease in lane-change crashes].
- Forward Pedestrian Impact Avoidance: Pedestrian detection. [real world impact not yet available].
- Backing Collision Avoidance: Reverse automatic braking, back-up warning, and rear traffic alert. [associated with a 78% decrease in crashes when combined with rearview camera and parking sensors].
